5. Sprouted seeds
Before germination, seeds are already an exceptional source of:
- Nutrients: carbohydrates, fats & proteids
- Vitamins
- Minerals
- Enzymes
- Dietary fiber
Germination develops the potential of vitality and enhances the bioavailability of minerals, vitamins and trace element; new enzymes are synthesized.
Indigestible dietary fibres (mostly contained in husks) are reduced as are antinutritinal factors (phytic acid).
Germination takes 2 to 5 days, usually 3 days are enough to obtain germs.
Sprouts are the major elements of living food, such as natural food supplements and as protein substitutes in a vegetarian diet. They are consumed garnishing salads, soups, cooked dishes or mixed into vegetable juice.

How to germinate ?
Use a glass jar with a perforated cover or covered with gauze.
Wash the seeds with filtered water, soak a few minutes and drain the water, tilting the jar.
Then, each day, rinse once and keep the bottle tilted at room temperature.
